Come to “Good Manners for Franklin Dogs” with Krista Clements
A six-session course at
The Factory in Franklin
To be fully enjoyed, a Franklin Dog needs to be a great companion and family member. And that includes some basic good manners. Only a dog that is properly mastered provides a wholesome and rejuvenating relationship for a family or individual.
There’s no one-size-fits-all way to address the needs of different dogs and their owners. So in order to give you and your Franklin Dog the attention you deserve, this class will be limited to 12 owners and their dogs.
It’s a chance to meet others who are interested in more fully enjoying their dog. Just as dogs can enhance the lives of families and individuals, they can also connect us on an individual and community level.
We’ll train our dogs to greet people politely, casually walk on their leash, and obey basic commands — the tools we all need to control our dogs in public and at home.
Krista Clements will guide us through these classes (read more about her below). She’ll address specific challenges you face with your dog.
A minimum number of registrations are needed to hold these sessions.
We hope to offer new puppy classes soon. But for these sessions, it will be best if the dog is at least 20 weeks old so that his/her attention span extends beyond that of a new pup.
Cost: $130.00

Meet Krista Clements
Krista seems so comfortable here in Middle Tennessee that it’s hard to imagine she grew up almost 800 miles away in La Cross, WI. From the age of 14, she has been training, breeding, and showing dogs.
She has worked as a veterinary assistant/technician and in 2000 she completed the Masters Trainers Course at National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, OH.
Krista focuses on maximizing the enjoyment an owner derives from his/her dog. She also does some one-on-one training through her own business, which you can read about at www.k9connectiontraining.com.

Is there any venue that says “Franklin” more than The Factory at Franklin? The Factory is one of those great spots in Franklin that is not only unique, but also dog friendly. We are really pleased to hold these classes in Jamison Hall.
